is great for the person who has never taken yoga before or anyone wanting to take a slower paced, gentle class. Hatha yoga is known to help a person gain a more vibrant physical and mental health through a series of asanas (comfortable, stable poses) that work with the systems of your body.
You will learn basic postures while discovering your breath and how to use it.
is for advanced beginners and intermediate level students. This class moves faster and goes into more advanced asanas.
on Sat . is for all levels except your very first time. This class is longer and will usually carry a theme to help you better your journey as you explore the asanas more in depth.
will strengthen and tone your muscles, loosen up your joints, and build up the core muscles that are key to everything you do . Kim's fun loving spirit will make sure there is never a dull moment. The 7 am class will be a bit more gentle while still working to achieve the same goals.
is open to all students, especially Senior Citizens . These classes are designed to promote mental and physical wellbeing. These replenishing classes build vitality and flexibility through the practice of relaxing, yet invigorating yoga postures.
classes are suitable for students of every age and ability level. Based on the Iyengar method, classes include therapeutic movement, strength and flexibility development, breath awareness, and yoga philosophy. These classes will be sequential over an 8 week period.
classes are ongoing and challenging on many levels. They are available to those students who have completed level 1 classes. Classes are sequential and cover pranayama (yogic breathing) and yogic philosophy, as well as asanas (postures). Level 2 students are encouraged to attend regularly for maximum benefit.
– For anyone with special needs or people who have never done yoga and want to see if it could benefit them. $35.00 for 1 hour
- Please be timely to class. It is highly disturbing to be late. The doors may even be locked depending on the teacher.
- Yoga mats and props are here for your use or purchase. However, it is encouraged to bring your own mat. This way you can always practice on the same space and have a more fulfilling practice.
- Wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
